This program is run by a Certified Hand Therapist who is also our Occupational Therapist. She has passed a comprehensive exam covering finger, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow and shoulder injuries. The exam is administered by the Hand Therapy Certification Commission. She is licensed and is a member of the American Society of Hand Therapists, California Occupational Therapy Association, Southern California Hand Special Interest Group and the American Occupational Therapy Association. Professionally she has lectured at conferences and published rehabilitation articles in peer reviewed journals. She has practiced since 1985.

Diagnosis that are frequently treated by our Hand Therapists includes:

  • Traumatic injuries: fractures, amputations, laceration, tendon or nerve injuries, burns and other complicated hand wounds.
